Education
Yulia Markova has a bachelor's degree in nursing management, completed her residency in health management at the Sechenov Moscow Medical Academy (later became known as Sechenov First Moscow State University), and also received an Executive MBA in management from the Harvard School of Business (USA).
Career
1999
In 1999, Yulia Markova began her career at the Russian representative office of Johnson & Johnson, taking the position of product specialist of the ASP department, one of the world's leading developers of innovative technologies for disinfecting hospital premises and medical equipment. She has held various positions in sales and marketing throughout her career, including leading large businesses.
2005-2006
In 2005, Yulia Markova was appointed head of the ASP department in Russia and the CIS. Since 2006, she headed the Russian department of Ethicon Endo-Surgery, specializing in the production of modern surgical instruments for open and minimally invasive surgery. Her later career was in the management of the Ethicon and Ethicon Endo-Surgery departments.
2013
In 2013, Markova headed the direction of medical instruments and equipment of the company.
2017
Appointment as head of the Russian office of Johnson & Johnson
On April 14, 2017, Johnson & Johnson, one of the world's largest manufacturers of drugs, cosmetics and sanitary products and medical equipment, announced the appointment of Yulia Markova to the post of general director of the company's representative office in Russia and the CIS countries.[1]
Election as IMEDA Board Chairman
On November 20, 2017, Yulia Markova, as part of the General Meeting of Heads of Companies Belonging to the Association of International Manufacturers of Medical Products, IMEDA was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association. More. here
