2018: Interaction when implementing the Digital Economy program
Rostelecom and the Government of Sverdlovsk region in February, 2018 signed the agreement on interaction when implementing on Central Ural Mountains the "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation" and "Development Strategies of Information Society in the Russian Federation for 2017 - 2030" program.
The agreement is signed by the governor of Sverdlovsk region Evgeny Kuyvashev and the president Rostelecom Mikhail Oseevsky.
Tasks
Considering special importance of project implementation in the field of "Digital economy", the parties agreed about permanent information exchange, creation of the commissions and the working groups with involvement of expert community. As a result Sverdlovsk region — one of the most developed industrial regions of Russia — and Rostelecom company will work in a common information space for implementing solutions of digital economy in work of authorities, enterprises, in everyday life of Ural residents.
For Sverdlovsk region the digitalization initiated by the President of Russia is not only necessary condition of transition to technology way, an opportunity as the head of state told, to catch a technology wave and to hold positions in competitive struggle. First of all, it is a basis for growth of quality of life of residents of Sverdlovsk which is provided for schetvnedreniye of modern technologies in health care, education, cultural and other spheres. And our efforts on development of digital economy, joint with Rostelecom, it is sure, will allow to set a new level in communications between people, to give start to a new stage of development of the socially important industries. Smart clinics and telemedicine, management systems of housing and public utilities and transport, security, environmental monitoring — these solutions are necessary to people. In many respects therefore, by the way, the idea of technologies for happiness, the "smart" cities and regions formed the basis of our request on EXPO-2025 — Evgeny Kuyvashev told. |
Digital solutions allow both the state, and business, and each inhabitant of the region to save the budgets, resources, ensure safety. It already occurs. Already there are specific examples of the projects implemented in Sverdlovsk region: in the field of security — a System-112, in the field of health care — connection to the fast Internet of treatment and prevention facilities of the region, for providing equal conditions of access to information resources for residents of Central Ural Mountains is implemented the federal program of elimination of digital inequality — Mikhail Oseevsky noted. |
The implemented projects
According to the operator, more than forty municipal entities, including Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Tagil, Kamensk-Uralsky, Serov and other large cities are already connected to the system of providing a call of the emergency operational services by uniform number "112" in Sverdlovsk region. It is expected that the complex implemented by Rostelecom company will help to carry out the analysis of the arriving information on all incidents on a permanent basis, to create statistic reports, to generalize, estimate and control data on an operational situation in the region. In total in the region 73 uniform services on duty and dispatching united in one network will work.
Besides, works on providing 190 treatment and prevention facilities with the fast Internet in the region are already performed. With arrival of the high-speed Internet the possibility of development of projects on telemedicine opened: doctors of department and residents of the village will be able to get advice of specialists of the high level including from the federal and regional medical organizations.
One more big infrastructure project implemented by Rostelecom on Central Ural Mountains — the elimination of digital inequality (EDI). Internet access at data transfer rate not less than 10 Mbps is got by residents of small settlements. The program included 222 localities of Sverdlovsk region numbering inhabitants from 250 to 500 people. More than a half of the plan of UTsN of Central Ural Mountains is already implemented — 690 km of optical lines of communication are constructed, put into operation of 139 access points of Wi-fi.
2017: Cooperation in the field of energy saving
Rostelecom and the Government of Sverdlovsk region signed in June, 2017 the agreement on cooperation in the field of energy saving and increase in power efficiency in the territory of Sverdlovsk region.
The agreement is signed within the taking place "St. Petersburg International Economic Forum – 2017" by the acting the governor of Sverdlovsk region Evgeny Kuyvashev and the president of PJSC Rostelecom Mikhail Oseevsky. The agreement is signed for an indefinite term.
Agreement parties intend to attract jointly investments, to participate in state programs of Sverdlovsk region and also to jointly hold the events directed to promoting and promotion of the innovative solutions in the field of energy saving and increase in power efficiency.
Rostelecom and the Government of Sverdlovsk region intend to develop the Actions plan on cooperation development, to create the working groups for consideration of practical issues of cooperation, to exchange commercial, technical and other information and also to give each other full support in the field of energy saving, increases in power efficiency.
"The power supply system of Sverdlovsk region one of the most developed and large in the country – the power developed by its enterprises is enough not only for providing the consumers, but also for electrical supply to a number of the neighboring territories of the Big Urals. At the same time, the issue of energy saving is not less important and relevant for us, than for any other subject of the country is one of the major resources for improving competitiveness of production and for economic development of the region in general. The most close attention is paid to work in this direction – at us it is developed and the newest information and analytical system of monitoring of expenditure of fuel and energy resources works, the energy audit of all organizations of the social sphere is carried out, the most modern dispatching systems everywhere are implemented. With a five-percent growth of industrial production energy consumption on Central Ural Mountains since the beginning of year grew only by 2.3 percent. It is sure that, thanks to our cooperation, these achievements will be not simply fixed, but also to be increased greatly even more", - the head of the region Evgeny Kuyvashev noted.
