Softline created failsafe IT infrastructure for Fenice Rus

In May, 2017 Softline announced project completion of migration of business subsystems of Fenice Rus company from the Italian servers in the Russian IT-infrastructure. As a result the customer provided full control over the available hardware-software assets and increased their fault tolerance.

Due to the expansion and reorganization the Moscow office Fenice Rus needed to transfer IT-services and applications, key for business (servers of control and management of authorization, financial software, storage systems) from head office in Italy to the Russian IT-infrastructure. The Softline company which specialists have wide experience of implementation of similar projects became the partner.

At transfer of services and these users it was required to save all configurations, access rights to the information, financial and accounting systems both at workstations, and on servers. During the project specialists of Softline recustomized means of communication and unrolled the necessary server software. For ensuring fault tolerance solutions of VMware together with the systems of accumulation and data storage based on NetApp and tape drives are used. Installed solution on routing and access control of Cisco provided protection of the existing network and infrastructure of branches, having provided closed channels of communication and the accessibility to necessary information from mobile devices.
