AP-W (analytical scales)

2017: Announcement

At the end of May, 2017 the Shimadzu company announced a new series of semi-microanalytical scales of AP-W. The AP135W, AP125WD and AP225WD models differ in exact weighing of the masses which is from 0.01 mg (1/100000 grams).

Scales are intended for exact weighings of small hinge plates by production of chemical and physical analyses by semi-micromethod in laboratories of research institutes, educational institutions and on industrial enterprises.

New devices can perform final measurements in only two seconds. There is completely automatic self-calibration by the built-in standard and function of buffering solution which helps to regulate concentration and to mix solutions by means of a highly effective liquid chromatography that significantly simplifies and accelerates work process. Besides, the producer equipped the scales with connection to a management system for results of measurements of Shimadzu LabSolutions Balance. The built-in USB interface allows to transfer data to the computer.

Scales can be connected to the STABLO-AP ionizer eliminating possible noises from a static stress to printers for printout of results and also to the keyboard and scanners of barcodes for data entry simplification. The single-component measuring cell of new generation of UniBloc AP provides reliability of work and stability of results at the reduced response time.

Also to be necessary to note a possibility of a complete set option hydrostatic weighing accessories and the built-in level for correct installation of scales.

The maximum masses which the AP135W, AP125WD and AP225WD models are expected are 135, 120 and 220 grams respectively. The producer did not publish the cost and terms of the beginning of sales of the equipment by the time of its announcement.^[1]
