Shtrikh-M participates in projects of SPb on creation of prparkovochny places

SHTRIKH-M and VTB will provide the Northern Capital with new parkings

The agreement of intent was signed by the Governor of Saint Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko and the president-chairman of the board of VTB Andrey Kostin in June, 2017 within the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The investment project means creation of paid parking spaces and uniform command center parking space in St. Petersburg. It in addition up to 52 thousand parking spaces in the Central, Admiralty and Petrograd districts of the city.

SHTRIKH-M Group within the project is going to deliver and install 1300 self-produced parking meters. The president of SHTRIKH-M Group Andrey Zhuravlev noted the importance of this project for development of the city and creation of the comfortable environment for life. "With attraction of the latest developments and investments, we do by joint efforts megalopolises better" - Andrey Zhuravlev told.

The construction is going to be completed no more than in four years, and the total amount of capital investments will be not less than 4 billion rubles. As the co-investor Infrastrukturnye investitsii holding LLC (the company entering into VTB Group) also acts. VTB already has successful experience of financing of projects in the field of infrastructure and public-private partnership.

In the agreement "interest of St. Petersburg in increase in capacity of a street road network, creation of preferable conditions for commission of trips on public transport and decrease in number of traffic offenses in the territory of the city" is noted.

In the city the pilot project on 2,907 parking spaces is already implemented: it was succeeded to reduce duration of occupation of parking spaces in a paid zone, positive dynamics of change of traffic congestion is observed.
