The main goal of the project of the "Future shop" started companies "The First BIT" - to accumulate technologies of retail on one demonstration platform for demonstration to potential clients.
The Aytiproyekt company acted as the partner and the expert of this project on use of technology of radio frequency identification (RFID) for automatic tracking of the movement of goods in a supply chain of modern shop and also for collecting and information analysis about behavior of buyers in the course of shopping.
On the area of demonstration shop a RFID system based on the ITProject RFID Server platform which covers all business processes in retail store, since acceptance, marking and placement of goods is unrolled, and finishing with sale at the checkout and inventory. The RFID technology allows to monitor automatically online movement of goods on zones (from a warehouse in a trading floor, a fitting room, etc.), showing where what goods are time at the moment.
The "Smart shelves" set in the showroom show location of these or those goods and signal about need of their replenishment if the goods come to an end. "Smart show-windows" output to the buyer information on goods who interests him. In shop "the smart fitting room" in which tags of goods with which the buyer comes into it are read out is also set, and information on goods is transferred to the consultant's tablet in a trading floor that, in case of need, it could render the operational help to the buyer.
The RFID system set in demonstration shop allows to perform almost instant calculation at the checkout for the purchased goods without need to spread it on a cash counter and performs function of anti-theft protection. Plus to it, the RFID technology allows to monitor the movement of buyers on a trading floor in the presence at it the card of loyalty of shop and movement of personnel, creating reports on a time recording.
In the project the RFID equipment of production of the companies is used Zebra Technologies and Nordic ID.
