The test Shop of the future developed by JSC RUSNANO, "Sitronics Information Technologies" (in 2012 passed under control of NVision Group) and X5 Retail Group, it was going to announce on October 26, 2011 at the International forum on nanotechnologies in Moscow. Shop of the future which will be open on platform X5 is created by the companies for development of solutions for RFID tags. Their use will allow to lower costs of all cycle of distribution and sale of goods and also to provide effective control behind turnover of goods in a supply chain. The tag will become "the electronic certificate" for goods that will allow to exclude hit of a counterfeit to consumers, to improve control over suppliers and also to exclude sale of overdue goods.
The investment agreement on this project the retailer, RUSNANO and Sitronics signed in June, 2011 within the events of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The total amount of investments into Shop of the future will be 350 million rubles. Funds will be distributed equally between three project participants within two years.
