Softline Highest League upgraded IT infrastructure of retail network of sport goods

Softline completed in the spring of 2017 the project Microsoft SAM Cloud Ready in retail network "The highest League". As a result the customer received recommendations about upgrade IT infrastructures with use Azure and Office 365.

The IT service of the customer was faced by a task to conduct examination of IT infrastructure and to prepare the strategy of its development taking into account business needs. As the partner the Softline company which specialists have necessary experience and competences for work directed to improvement of quality of use of the software was selected. Besides, Softline and Highest League are connected by long-term cooperation on a number of IT projects.

Specialists of Softline analyzed the customer's IT infrastructure at the central office and 30 outlets. In total the project included more than 150 workstations and 10 servers. According to the results of inspection for the customer recommendations about development of IT according to the business strategy of the company were prepared.

It was recommended to retail network to transfer domain network to Azure cloud that will allow to integrate the central office and all outlets in the uniform managed structure.

For ensuring fault tolerance and smooth operation of the key business application "1C: Enterprise" experts of Softline suggested to migrate copies of Microsoft SQL bases also on a cloud platform. The similar scenario will allow the customer to separate the appeal to the system of users with different access rights. Due to redirection of users with access rights "only on reading" on the cloud copy of SQL base in Microsoft Azure load of physical servers will decrease.

That the personnel of shops got access to corporate mail from mobile devices, phased transition from local solution of Microsoft Exchange Server is recommended to the customer for Exchange Online.
