Dictate is expansion (add-in) for voice text typing in in Microsoft Office.
On June 21, 2017 the Microsoft company announced release by the Dictate project of technology of voice text typing. Data entry in Microsoft Office in 20 languages, transfer of written - on 60 languages, including Russian is implemented.
The Dictate project used possibilities of the human speech to facilitate to the staff of offices a daily routine. It created expansion for Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), it helps to dictate the text, to translate it in real time into 60 languages[1].
In the course of demonstration testing Dictate recognized and truly wrote in English a word more long than 28 letters - Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious (Superkalifradzhilistikekspialidoshes). In this process cognitive services Microsoft are used.
The Dictate expansion is created on technologies artificial intelligence, services of speech recognition, including API Bing, opportunities Microsoft Translator. Voice commands allow to enter the text, to do indents and paragraphs, to delete the unnecessary text, to add punctuation symbols.
