RST-Invent using RFID tags saved Sberbank from queues of collectors

RST-Invent, joint company "Rusnano" and GKS, made tags of radio frequency identification to Sberbank. A victory in the corresponding auction it was announced on July 4, 2017.

Sberbank was faced by a problem of operational receiving and delivery by collectors of the hinged equipment. Queue from collectors on receiving or return of radio stations, keys and other working stock was built at the beginning and the end of each working day.

RST-Invent provided RFID tags for collectors of Sberbank

The bank made the decision to use RFID marking of each item of equipment and to make their fast acceptance and issue using desktop readers.

Project Progress

According to Vitaly Voytsekhovich, the head on business development of RST-Invent, non-standard technical requirements of the customer demanded from engineers of the company to invent quickly two types of RFID tags with unique properties. For marking of linking of metal keys the RFID tag in the plastic body charm, and was developed for identification of the electronic equipment without creation of noises for its use - a tag in the elastic body on a glue basis.

For only 14 branches of Sberbank over 30 thousand RFID charms of TwinTag-Mini and more than 7 thousand tags of IT-1-M4 were delivered. The cost of each charm is 24.83 rub, and tags on a glue basis - 33.76 rub.

The auction of Sberbank drew attention practically of all leading players of the RFID industry, and it is impossible to call this victory easy. Level of coordination of a project team, qualification of designers and technologists allowed us to make the proposal without damage to quality and compliance of RFID tags to technical specifications. And, at the same time to optimize cost value of a line of products, - Alexander Grebennik, the CEO of RST-Invent told.

RFID tag of IT-1-M4

RFID tags of IT-1-M4 in the elastic body on a special glue basis are developed by engineers of RST-Invent for identification of the electronic equipment without creation of noises for its use. Are marked by this tag, including, metallic products therefore engineers of RST-Invent as much as possible isolated the antenna for faultless reading of a RFID tag. The RFID tag of IT-1-M4 is developed especially for marking of the collector equipment, but can be used for any spheres of business where marking of small metal products is necessary

TwinTag-Mini RFID charm

The RFID tag in the plastic body charm on the basis of a tag of TwinTag-Mini is developed for marking of linking of metal keys. The tag is designed for use in the solutions requiring steady registration of objects in three planes (a 3D format). The charm can be used as the identifier of the collector and the verifier electronic signature of the cashier of bank department or the serviced outlet. Objects of marking: keys, bags trunks, the identifier for the duty collector, the identifier of the cashier.

Project Results

As a result of project implementation process of issue and delivery of stock by collectors accelerated by 10 times. Thanks to RFID tags now it takes only several seconds. Earlier receiving and return were performed by the piece with notes in the magazine and painting that required much more time.

Accounting of the equipment goes in specialized software of Sberbank using special drivers for RFID solutions.
