RFID is the technology of identification giving more than opportunities in comparison with the traditional systems of marking. The most widespread RFID tags, as well as many barcodes, represent self-adhesive labels. But if on a barcode information is stored in a graphic type, then on a tag data are entered and read out by means of radio waves. The RFID tag represents a miniature memory device. It consists of the microchip which stores information, and the antenna through which the tag transmits these data and receives. Sometimes the RFID tag has own power source (such tags are called active), but the majority of tags it are deprived (these tags are called passive).

2017: TwinTag Trio
TwinTag Trio is the first-ever RFID tag compatible to any of three chips of the largest global manufacturers. It allows to vary technical characteristics of RFID tags and to use them in the different industries: jewelry, alcoholic, pharmaceutics, fashion, not to mention become classics of automation of production processes. The decision on installation of this or that chip on a RFID tag is made depending on need of the customer, objects of marking and conditions of their registration.
Scope of RFID constantly extends. The technology is demanded in those industries where control of movement of objects in real time is necessary, protection of products against counterfeits and a counterfeit, intelligent solutions of automation, capability to work in severe conditions of operation, faultlessness, speed and reliability. Daily there are messages about new methods of application of technology.
Specialists of RST-Invent improved the tag antenna, having provided compatibility with chips of the Higgs family of Alien Technology company. Now on a tag chips of three world leading manufacturers can be installed: NXP, Impinj and Alien. In addition to significant reduction of time for readjustment of production lines upon transition to new orders, the applied approach allows RST-Invent company quickly and to adapt flexibly to constantly changing consumer requirements of its products.
One of the first directions where new tags will be used, control identification tags (KIZ) released by Goznak for marking of fur products according to the standards admitted during creation of the Single system of goods marking to EEU are. This system means marking of each unit of an accounting item (in this case, a fur product) with the RFID tag converted into it.
"One of the first interest in TwinTag Trio tag with the Higgs chip showed Goznak. And our engineers, of course, considered wishes of dear client when developing. TwinTag Trio with the Higgs chip meets all technical requirements imposed to the RFID tags integrated into control identification tags (KIZ). After successful tests and tests, the first production lot of a new RFID tag was shipped to the customer. 2016: Order for 1.4 million units of RFID tags
On October 12, 2016 the press service of PJSC Mikron announced obtaining the order for release of additional circulation of RFID tags in number of 1.4 mln pcs.
The order is created within within the project of the Eurasian Economic Union on creation of the Single system of goods marking for marking of fur products.
In September, 2016 Mikron received the order for production and delivery of 2 million RFID tags until the end of October, 2016. Taking into account shipped earlier, until the end of 2016 Mikron is obliged to deliver to the customer more than 4 million units of production.
RFID tags of Micron are intended for production of polygraphicly protected control identification tags (KIZ) which mark fur products. The RFID tag as a part of KIZ contains information on the history of origin and movement of a fur product that allows to keep the general account of the marked products, provides additional protection of the form against counterfeit.
Mikron developed for participation in this project and mastered in serial production several special RFID tags, according to requirements of the customer. Tags of the company work in the UHF range, conform to ISO standards 18000-63, ISO/IEC 18000-63:2013, ISO/IEC 29160, have the automatic mode of simultaneous reading of a large number of the purposes at distance to 9 m.

2015: Completion of development of TwinTag
The RST-Invent company, Rusnano portfolio company, completed development of a new RFID tag of TwinTag in 2015. The tag is intended for marking of fur coats and fur products, and the design of its antenna has no analogs in the world.
The tag of TwinTag can be made with different models of UHF chips that not only allows to provide uninterrupted production and delivery of tags to clients, but also expands a range of possible applications of TwinTag. The tag can be used for automation logistic and production processes. Besides, it is optimized for integration into plastic cards, labels and labels, told in the company.
The tag of TwinTag is already used within the project of creation of the Single system of goods marking in EEU. During testing of TwinTag showed excellent characteristics, noted in Rusnano. At present the technology of converting of a tag (in a format dry inleya) in the control identification tag for marking of fur coats and other fur products is fulfilled.
"Construction of TwinTag allows to use a tag in the solutions requiring steady registration of objects in the different planes (3D - a format). Besides, the range of registration of TwinTag reaches 11 meters that considerably exceeds the analogs which are available in the market" — the specialist of RST-Invent company Alexander Komkov said.
