Softline analyzed license compliance of software of Microsoft in Geoizola

The Softline company announced on June 30, 2017 project completion according to the analysis of license compliance of the software of Microsoft in Geoizol group. As a result the customer received the status report on program assets and readiness of IT infrastructure for deployment of cloud services.

Geoizol group — the holder of the agreement of Microsoft Enterprise Agreement (EA). It was important to company management to define how current agreement corresponds to business needs and to estimate readiness of infrastructure for implementation of cloud solutions of Microsoft. With respect thereto it was decided to implement the Software Asset Management (SAM) project and to carry out the complex analysis of license compliance of an installed software of vendor. The contractor selected Softline, the certified partner of Microsoft according to the SAM program.

Experts of Softline studied features of infrastructure of Geoizol group and processes of management of IT assets. The analysis of program assets allowed to set precisely the volume of software used by the customer and to draw a conclusion on the standardized SAM level and license compliance. Specialists of Softline estimated readiness of infrastructure of the customer for implementation of cloud services which use, as expected, will allow to reduce licensing costs, to increase stability of IT systems and will provide personnel with access to corporate resources both with the PC, and from mobile devices.
