The Softline company at the end of June, 2017 announced project completion according to the analysis of license compliance of the software of Microsoft in Toyota Tsusho Kazakhstan Auto company. As a result the customer received the status report on program assets and readiness of IT infrastructure for deployment of cloud services.
The customer needed to receive data on an infrastructure status for further optimization of purchases of the software and to prepare the strategy of its development taking into account business needs. The contractor of the project selected Softline — the certified partner of Microsoft according to the SAM program who spends a full stroke of the works directed to optimization use of software of vendor and increase in its license compliance.
Having taken into account to need of the customer, experts of Softline offered Toyota Tsusho Kazakhstan Auto the consulting SAM Cloud Ready project. Specialists analyzed the desktop systems running Microsoft Windows, the server hardware, the Microsoft SQL databases, office applications at the central office of the company and two branches. The analysis of program assets allowed to set the volume of software used by the customer and to draw a conclusion about on the level of processes of SAM and license compliance. According to the results of the project for Toyota Tsusho Kazakhstan Auto the plan of upgrade of IT infrastructure using cloud services was offered. The project report also included the recommendations allowing to minimize license risks.
