"The first OFD" increased ICT infrastructure performance with the help Croc

In July, 2017 Croc announced First OFD increase in computing and telecommunication infrastructure of DPC of the fiscal data operator.

Since 2014 First OFD participates in reform of the cash register equipment. For this purpose it was required to equip DPC of the company with computing infrastructure according to law 54-FZ "About use of the cash registers" with a possibility of building of resources for flexible management by transaction loadings at the peak moments.

Within the project Croc increased performance of IT infrastructure of the operator with use servers Dell EMC and a high-speed wired network of data transmission based on the infrastructure Cisco focused on applications (Application Centric Infrastructure ACI).

As the result, First OFD received the failsafe platform for work of the application software and the analytical systems in the conditions of daily growing volume of cash transactions of trade enterprises with observance of all requirements of the legislation to information security of fiscal data. The continuity of processing of fiscal data is provided with the architecture of DPC of First OFD and solutions allowing to distribute loading. In turn, it provides scaling of IT resources without influence on stability of work of critical IT infrastructure.
