Iridium Gate is the universal program gateway intended for expansion of opportunities of control of separate types of the equipment.

- Connection of several clients to the equipment which is not supporting a mnogokliyentnost (Modbus TCP/ASCII/RTU, routers KNX on the KNXNet/IP protocol);
- Connection of panels using Wi-Fi or 3G to the equipment connected to the PC SOM port (the TCP to RS232 conversion for Modbus, HDL-Bus Pro);
- Elimination of a problem of "hangup" of the KNX router at connection loss — stable communication with KNX;
- Stable work on the Internet with the equipment using UDP transport.
2017: Expansion of opportunities of solutions of Apple, Google and Amazon on management of voice of IoT-devices
In July the Russian company Iridium Mobile provided the product Iridium Gate intended for a bypass of the restrictions imposed by the companies Apple Google and Amazon.[1]
So, the Apple application of Homekit provides control of different devices of the smart home using Siri voice assistant for iPhone or iPad. The Amazon Echo smart loudspeaker and the wireless Google Home loudspeaker are also intended for control of smart homes. However in the list of the equipment which they can manage — only the devices certified by Apple, Amazon and Google respectively. Respectively, some part of solutions for smart homes and offices remains not covered support. It also dictates need of creation of Iridium Gate, explained in the company.
According to the statement of Iridium Mobile, the solution Iridium Gate will provide support of a large number of professional automation systems of production of AMX, Creston, KNK, Modbus, etc.
The product provides management of such solutions using Homekit and Amazon Echo Apple. In the nearest future it is going to add support of management using Google Home.
Iridium Gate is built in the existing systems of smart homes without additional setup of projects of automation, specified in Iridium Mobile.
