1988

In 1988 Catherine Estrampes started the career in the French representative office of GE Healthcare in which afterwards it replaced several leading positions in the field of marketing and business management in divisions on release of computer tomographs and the cardiological equipment.

1999

In 1999 Catherine Estrampes moved to the USA and began to work in investment division of GE Capital in which held several leading posts.

2010-2013

In 2010 Catherine Estrampes returned to GE Healthcare to head business of the company in so-called Central America (the part of North America including Mexico, West Indies and Central America, i.e. all Latin America out of South America). In 2013 the area of responsibility of Catherine Estrampes was expanded to the central part of the USA and Canada.

2017: Appointment as the head of the European office GE Healthcare

On July 25, 2017 the producer of the medical equipment GE Healthcare announced Catherine Estrampes's appointment the president and the CEO of the European representative office. She will enter new duties on October 1, 2017 and will submit to the head of GE Healthcare Kieran Murphy.

Catherine will bring wide experience thanks to the career in GE Capital and the management of GE Healthcare of the central area in the USA. Its vision and leadership skills will become key assets as we continue to develop our business in the region, providing the best solutions and services which will help to improve results for health care systems and patients in Europe — Murphy noted.

Catherine Estrampes will succeed Jean-Michel Malbrancq who worked in the company more than 35 years from which seven years — on a position of the head of the European office GE Healthcare Europe.^[1]
