HP ElitePOS

ElitePOS is a universal system for retailers.

On August 10, 2017 HP Inc company. provided modular construction of ElitePOS. The functional device increases the speed and convenience of many processes to clients and personnel.

Among options there are uses:

• interactive displays,
• accounting of attendance of employees,
• self-service,
• registration of guests in hotel
• access to additional offers.

For the enterprises retailers where it is necessary to release space before cash desks or to optimize placement of POS terminals, the possibility of separation of the display from the input-output module is provided.

To a complex the printer of checks which is built in a rack, the reader of a magnetic band (are purchased in addition) are offered — allow to release a working space at the checkout. Optional the scanner of barcodes and the independent printer are executed in design of ElitePOS.

ElitePOS is created to the wearproof and conforming military standards USA (MIL STD 810G). Customer service will be accelerated by means of OS Windows 10, memories of DDR4 and Intel the Core processor of the 7th generation with vPro technology.

During ElitePOS creation developers applied security technologies:

• protection of the device at the level of BIOS at the attack of the malware thanks to HP Sure Start Gen3 and HP BIOSphere Gen3.
• technologies of user authentication, including the optional reader of fingerprints for safe login;
  • the Credential Guard function for safe user authentication and password protection,
  • the Device Guard function which allows IT managers to create rules for start on the POS system only of the signed, reliable and approved applications that guarantees protection against the low-level attacks through USB ports.

• physical security of the device using an optional configuration for fastening by bolts to a counter, fastenings of VESA K-Lock and the external fingerprint reader for safe login via Windows Hello.

ElitePOS will be available in EMEA region since August, 2017.
