Choice of a product

The Tessa platform was selected as the electronic document management system of the banking group in early 2016. The choice was primarily based on flexibility, responsiveness and cost of ownership of the software system.

Project course

As part of the first phase of the implementation project on the basis of the Tessa platform, the general processes of paperwork of the banking group were automated: working with incoming correspondence and organizational and administrative documents. In total, more than 3 thousand employees became users of the system.

In the fall of 2016, SMP Bank set the task of optimizing business lending processes in the small and medium-sized business segment. Since the Tessa platform was already deployed in the bank, and Sintellect, the platform developer and integrator of the existing implementation, had similar implementation experience in other banks, it was decided to automate the credit pipeline for small and medium-sized businesses based on the Tessa platform.

Project results

As a result of automation, SMP Bank optimized the processes of consideration and approval of loan applications. The system implements a set of interactive reports that allow online monitoring of the work of all departments involved in the process of considering loan applications and reflecting consolidated statistical data on credit applications in the context of several indicators.

About 400 employees of the bank, specialists in the field of lending, became users of this subsystem.
