Content

On August 18, 2017 the Softline company announced deployment of e-mail based on own public cloud for 2 thousand employees of Resurstrans company. As a result the customer saved on upgrade of local infrastructure and accelerated process of communication in the company.

Resurstrans LLC transferred corporate mail to a cloud of provider. This large transport company refused use of own server and the corresponding client, having transferred service of business mail to outsourcing. The provider is in turn ready to complement service with options which are necessary for users for better and operational work. Let's tell, due to integration of the Skype for Business program with corporate mail process of approval of shipments can take place several times quicker.

Prerequisites

At Resurstrans — a geographically distributed branch network. A fixed asset of corporate communication — cloud e-mail. Over time the quality of service ceased to meet the requirements of business of the customer, and the company management made the decision on transition to other software. The partner selected Softline having rich examination in the field of cloud computing.

Project Progress

Specialists of Softline proposed Resurstrans the cloud mail solution Microsoft Exchange Server which is included into Virtual Office Softline service. It is constructed within the affiliate program of Microsoft Cloud OS Network Russia. The vendor guarantees quality of the provided service, presence at specialists of Softline of necessary qualification and checks a solution architecture for compliance to the best practices.

Project Results

Within the project migration on new mailboxes about 2 thousand users was carried out.

As result, the customer received the selected virtual infrastructure within a public cloud with the guaranteed availability of service of 99.5% and speed of reaction of technical support 24х7. At the same time the company had an opportunity to independently determine the volume of mailboxes of employees depending on their job responsibilities and routine tasks.

We provided to the customer a mail service based on the computing powers capable to maintain a heavy load. At the expense of more productive cloud platform and use of the latest version of the software messages began to be sent much quicker. Flexible licensing of service will allow to regulate consumption of cloud capacities according to needs of the company — Alexander Chistyakov, the sales manager of Softline company noted.

Thanks to mail in a public cloud of Softline we received the global system of corporate communication covering all branches and at the same time did not incur the capital costs connected with purchase of the additional hardware.
