Cost Track for Android 2.0: A possibility of expense allocation and income on categories

The Cost Track application ("Purse") received large-scale updating on the Android platform from Artezio (enters into LANIT group). Developers considerably expanded functionality of the program — now it is possible to categorize precisely expenses and income, it is easy to import data from any bank. On August 10, 2020 LANIT reported about it.

One of the most notable changes in the application — more accurate accounting of cash flow. Now it is not necessary to refer the expenses or income only to a certain category. It is possible to create own subcategories. They will be shown in closing statements and the chart that increases visualization and accuracy of display of cash flow.

Also data transfer about bank transactions practically from any Internet bank became available to owners of Android smartphones. For this purpose it is necessary to create in the banking application or on the website the CSV file and to load it into Cost Track. This function significantly simplifies conducting house accounting. It is not necessary to fix each purchase in the application, it is enough to import data and to receive the detailed report on a financial balance.

Cost Track for Android became the full-function tool for those who want to control the expenses. Million loadings and availability in Apple Store for Mac

On June 23, 2020 it became known that the application for maintaining house finance of Cost Track ("Purse") from Artezio was loaded more than 1 million times on all platforms — iOS, Android and macOS. The version became available to desktop computers and notebooks of Apple in Apple Store for Mac recently.

The release of the first version of Cost Track took place on the operating system iOS. Then the development team of Artezio announced and released the version for Android then the program release on Mac took place.

On mobile platforms the program gained deserved recognition of critics and users. Cost Track was nominated for the prize "Gold Application". The Apple corporation regularly includes Cost Track in the list of the recommended programs for the mobile devices.

Cost Track simplifies maintaining house finance, shows opportunities for economy of means at the expense of expense optimization. The main advantage of the application — evident display of all cash transactions in different consumer categories. The user can apply as already created categories, and to open own to consider specific transactions.

The release of the application version for macOS became a new stage of development Cost Track. Developers transferred all functionality of mobile application to the stationary systems and notebooks and also adapted the program for work on monitors with high resolution.

In plans of Artezio to continue development of Cost Track taking into account new technological solutions which will be presented by Apple and Google during 2020 and 2021.

Function of backup in Cost Track Android-application

The application for conducting house accounting of Cost Track ("Purse") received from Artezio (enters into LANIT group) on the Android platform the next updating. Developers added function of backup of records to a cloud service of Google and to a local memory of the mobile device. On April 2, 2020 reported about it in Artezio company.

In the provided version there was an opportunity to create groups of lists, also developers provided creation of the PDF report in the chart. Function of backup allows to save safely expense data and to income, to transfer records from one device to another within the Android operating system and the user account.

The Cost Track application extends on conditional and free model. All functions of the application can be estimated without surcharge.

As of April 2 more than 750 thousand people on the mobile devices IOS and Android around the world use the Cost Track application. Since the beginning of 2020 the program was downloaded by more than 200 thousand people.

Adding of support of "blank sheet"

The Artezio company (enters into group of CHEEKS) updated the application for maintaining house finance — Cost Track ("Purse"). Developers added support of "blank sheet". So now users will be able to begin to conduct personal accounting from scratch — without the history of expenditure and savings. On February 26, 2020 LANIT reported about it.

As founders of Cost Track note, the added function also allows to manage more flexibly the budget in different situations. For example, an opportunity to nullify accounting can be useful when moving or to begin the separate expense accounting and income for each family member.

In updating which affected versions of the program both for iOS and for Android, there were additional functions which considerably increase convenience of using of the free application. Users will be able to consider the means saved in one month in the budget of another and it is easy to sort data on the time period of their accounting.

Around the world for February, 2020 more than 700 thousand people on the mobile devices IOS and Android use the Cost Track application. Only since the beginning of 2020 the program was downloaded by more than 100 thousand people.

2019: Support of IOS 13 and dark mode

On September 30, 2019 the company LANIT reported that mobile application Artezio for maintaining house finance – Cost Track ("Purse") completely maintains now functionality iOS 13, IPadOS and allows to use a dark subject.

Now it is possible to use the application taking into account daylight illumination or the personal preferences in the choice of a light or dark design. Updating of IOS to the latest version is available to devices IPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro (Max) IPhone XS, to iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE and iPod touch and iPad.

Submitting the updated iOS, the Apple corporation noted a possibility of use of applications in a classical light or dark design. On devices with OLED displays use of a dark subject gives an energy efficiency gain.

2018: Availability to users of Android

On August 13, 2018 the company Artezio reported that application "Purse" it is possible to download not only in Apple Store, but also century Google Play. According to the company, thanks to cloud synchronization through the service Dropbox, records made on one platform will be available also on another. Users smartphones and tablets on Android can use all key functions of the program which were earlier implemented in the version for iOS.

As it was reported, among opportunities of Purse there is convenient accounting of income and expenses, evident statistics, formation of lists on expense categories and income which can be changed support more than 150 currencies with automatic update of rates, geotagging, preserving of photos of checks, converting of the amounts of any currency, the built-in calculator and many other things. 2017: Support of the large personal capitals

In August, 2017 the Artezio company (Lanit enters into group) implemented full support of the large personal capitals in the Cost Track application. Now the application can correctly process and display the amounts to several quintillions in any currency, developers claim.

Cost Track ("Purse") was initially created as house accounting, the tool for accounting of a personal income and expenses. However requests of representatives of business and business companies promoted completion of the solution Artezio, told in the company.

Initially we believed that support of large numbers, first of all, will be required in emerging economies where rapid inflation is observed. But now there is practically no such state left in geography of distribution of our application. Nevertheless, I am sure that advanced program functionality will be demanded — for work with large sums with which rich people and the large companies operate — Igor Esipovich, the Head of Department of mobile developments of Artezio said.

In upgraded version of Cost Track accurate accounting of cryptocurrencies and precious metals appeared. According to authors of the project, conducting accounting in cryptocurrencies — a modern trend which is demanded by users, in the same way as accounting of precious metals.

In plans of Artezio — it is essential to expand the list of available currencies and forms of accounting of income and expenses.

While Cost Track is available only to owners of devices from Apple in Apple Store shop, the version for Android devices will be released later.
