On September 1, 2017 the network of KFC fast food restaurants announced start of a payment system on a smile. At first the new technology under the name will be tested by residents of China.

The first KFC restaurant where it is possible to pay food using the person, is located in one of entertainment complexes of the Chinese city of Hangzhou.

To use a new system, the visitor of KFC needs to approach the self-service terminal and to make the order. After that the user needs to enter the mobile phone number tied to Alipay payment system.

Then on the screen of the computer the message with a request will appear to smile in 3D - the camera. In case of confirmation of the identity of the owner a bag function of biometric identification permits to register payment.

According to developers, a system will recognize the person of all for couple of seconds and does it correctly even if he did a make-up and changed hair color or a hairstyle. Besides, the difficult algorithm considers shadows and flares so to deceive the computer by means of the photo or video it not to turn out. Additional safety is ensured by input of the phone number.

If swindlers nevertheless are able to pay food through others account, in the Ant Financial Services Group company (belongs to the Chinese Internet holding Alibaba Group) developing a payment service of Alipay will pay all damages.
