Softline upgraded engineering infrastructure of DPC of SPC of Geostr

The Softline company jointly with specialists of SPC of Geostr announced on September 12, 2017 upgrade of engineering infrastructure of a data processing center of SPC of Geostr for ensuring smooth operation of its computing resources.

Prerequisites of the Project

The Geostra research and production center is engaged in processing and interpretation of data of seismic exploration in modification 2D/3D, given to GIS and borehole seismic exploration, performs geological and hydrodynamic modeling and conducts bank of geologic-geophysical data, accompanies development of the operating oil and gas fields.

In the center of processing of geologic-geophysical data of SPC of Geostr work with the large volume of information is performed and the set of resource-intensive calculations is daily made. With information technology development volumes of the processed information grow, as a result, requirements to computing powers raise. With respect thereto SPC company of Geostr made the decision on upgrade of engineering infrastructure of DPC. The Softline company which offered a modern, complex and turnkey scalable solution became the partner of the project.

Project Results

Specialists of Softline developed the design project of the premises, designed and installed ventilation systems, lighting, monitoring and scheduling of engineering infrastructure. For creation of optimum level of cooling the solution "Centaur-15M1" of production of the Circle Enterprise PC is used. The uninterruptible power supply units connected to it will provide continuous maintenance of the set temperature condition indoors at blackout. At the refrigeration unit the centralized management console and control facilities of a condition of equipment are provided. For optimum allocation of hot and cold air flows PVC veils indoors were in addition set.

The command of Softline proposed a functional scalable solution which will ensure smooth operation of computing infrastructure of DPC. Thanks to the provided training IT specialists of the company will be able to use more effectively resources and quickly to react to emergence of emergency situations — Rustem Hafizov, the chief engineer of SPC of Geostr noted.
