Mastertel: Lease of virtual infrastructure

Lease of virtual infrastructure — the service created based on the VMware vSphere 6.5 platform and provided Mastertel using own network of communication channels in Moscow. The equipment of a cloud platform is located in the DPCs of the capital constructed according to the Tier III standards.

2017: Service start

On September 12, 2017 the Mastertel company announced the beginning of providing service in providing virtual infrastructure to the clients in lease. As a result customers receive virtual resources of the necessary performance, the solution for infrastructure management and also professional technical support.

For rendering services Mastertel uses own network of communication channels in Moscow and the modern equipment of different vendors that, according to the company, provides a repeated stock of resources, capacities and productivities. The cloud service is based on the equipment with the duplicated components excluding a uniform point of failure. All components allow "hot swap" without shutdown of the equipment. For file allocation of virtual machines the storage system using flash-caching and SSD disks is used. Capacities of DWH allow to provide to certain clients tens of thousands of transactions of input-output per second.

Besides, service is created based on the VMware vSphere 6.5 platform. It provides virtualization of applications, supports their scaling, implements availability and simplification of virtual data processing centers (VTSODOV). Thus, the available and steady infrastructure conforming to high requirements and being optimal base for formation of a cloud environment is formed, declared in Mastertel.

The equipment of a cloud platform is located in the data centers of Moscow constructed according to the Tier III standards which guaranteed time of smooth operation is 99.98% of the general time of functioning of DPC.

As noted, service, first of all, is intended for the companies which are going to reduce costs for IT without prejudice to quality of service, intend to concentrate on core business or have the broad range of loads of IT infrastructure.

Most the companies actively transfer the business processes to clouds. For functioning of these services reliable cloud infrastructure is necessary. Centralization of "cloud" competences will allow to provide to clients access to all range of necessary solutions on the principle of "one window" and to carry out complex projects on transformation of IT based on modern technologies — the CIO of Mastertel company Victor Safronov said.
