Bell Integrator automates testing of business applications Unistream

CB Unistream automates process of testing of business applications. On September 12 reported about it in the contractor of the project — Bell Integrator company. This project became one of important stages within a global problem of reduction of a cycle of an output of new products and services Unistream on the market.

Project Tasks

Following business development and quickly changing competitive environment, Unistream constantly develops and optimizes the main banking and payment systems. For the purpose of a fast and qualitative output of products and services to the market, within a cycle of developments of testing and operation, Unistream applies DevOps methodology. With accumulation of volumes of development and deployment of new products there was a need to accelerate testing process which is one of the major components in the general cycle — from the analysis of the business idea before its implementation.

Earlier given process required big human and time expenditure. The Bell Integrator company was attracted to the solution of this task.

We are glad to take part in this project as we have rich experience of process optimization and product introduction for financial institutions. And we are happy with the current result, I think, our work will allow the customer to provide to the clients high-quality services in large volume — Alexey Ananyev, the director of business development of Bell Integrator noted.

Results of project works

For the last several months with Bell Integrator participation process of manual testing was significantly transformed in the direction of full automation. Already now on average the set-up time and a release exit within a software package Unistream was reduced to 4 times. Thanks to the modern automated techniques and an exception of a human factor it was succeeded to increase quality of the released software product also.

Within this project we complete the next stage of works on high-quality improvement of infrastructure of Unistream bank. It agrees DevOps methodology accepted in bank we continue to improve progressively performance measures and qualities of a hardware and software system and also it is essential to raise indicators of availability and fault tolerance of information systems. We are going to cover until the end of 2017 with the automated cases all business functionality of money transfer systems Unistream, and until the end of the first quarter 2018 to complete this process fully, having covered also automated banking system and a number of adjacent software packages of bank — the CIO of JSC CB Unistream Alexey Yemelyanov told.
