Logic: The technical dock is a set of solutions for creation of the electronic storages Enterprise level of technical documents. Solutions can be constructed on platforms IBM FileNet and Alfresco/MSVSphere.

A system included functionality of two products: Logic of EA. Technical documents (based on Alfresco/Infoturnover WSWS) and Logic of EHD. Technical documents (based on IBM FileNet and ABBYY FlexiCapture).

2018: "Logic: Technical dock". Description

As of October, 2018 solutions of a line "Logic: Technical dock" allow:

• Create the uniform centralized archive of electronic copies of documents;
• Organize accounting of the documents generated at all stages of lifecycle of the document, project developments;
• Provide remote access to electronic documents and their viewing in a format of applications or in external information systems (integration);
• Reduce document retrieval terms;
• Minimize risks of an irretrievable loss of documents or other important technical information;
• Prepare regulations and mechanisms of storage and also exchange and use of documentation.

Components

Product line "Logic: The technical dock" includes two solutions for creation of electronic storages of technical documents:

• 1. "Logic: Technical dock" on the platform Alfresco/Infoturnover WSWS — the standard solution intended for deployment of electronic archive of technical documentation at the enterprise of a scientific, design or technological profile, implemented on the modern open IT platform of the Enterprise level.
• 2. "Logic: Technical dock" on the IBM FileNet platform — the standard solution for the organization of electronic archive of technical documentation at the enterprise of a scientific, design or technological profile.

Features

Systems "Logic: The technical dock" on platforms of Alfresco, MSVSphere and IBM FileNet in general is automated by the following tasks:

• Organization of storage and use of archive technical documentation in electronic form. A system based on IBM FileNet also automates logistics management of documents (on the basis of a barcode with the identifier)
• Accounting of receipts of technical documentation according to requirements of state standards
• Input and placement in electronic storage of documents by scanning (stream scanning) and collecting from the file directories and other information systems processing and creating technical documents
• The description of documents on target attributes (including with recognition of attributes), structure and subject

On September 18, 2014 the company "Business Logic" announced release of the solution "Logic of EHD. Technical documents" on platforms IBM FileNet and ABBYY FlexiCapture for the organization of electronic data warehouses (EHD) of technical documentation at the enterprise of a scientific, design or technological profile.

Architecture

System "Logic of EHD. Technical documents" it is implemented as building block solution at the heart of which software platforms of IBM FileNet P8 (for ensuring processes of storage and providing access to documents) and ABBYY FlexiCapture are used (for process automation of input and conversion of documents to an electronic form). Solution modules are constructed based on uniform technology of scanning, storage and management of technical documentation and also directed to the solution of the specific objectives facing the staff of divisions of the enterprise during the work with documents.

System "Logic of EHD. Technical documents" allows to automate processing and storages of the following types / classes of documentation:

Options of creation of a system

System "Logic of EHD. Technical documents" can be implemented as the centralized or decentralized solution.

The centralized solution represents a system with the uniform data warehouse bred at the central office and network of remote terminal access points of small branches or industrial facilities.

At the same time all documentation of the central office and remote divisions is scanned on places and sent to the central electronic storage where there is its further processing and storage. It provides unification of process of filling of electronic archive and also allows to conduct the centralized administration of a system.

In a system there are mechanisms of consolidation given in the central electronic storage from repositories of geographically distributed external systems.

The decentralized solution represents the distributed electronic archive which best of all suits the enterprises with large territorial and remote divisions and network of small branches.

In given cases in each division own electronic archive, data on which are synchronized in electronic archive of the central office without duplication of documents, will be organized, and the staff of branches has an opportunity of terminal access to documents of territorial archive. At the same time disaster tolerance of a system is provided — the staff of divisions has access to necessary documentation even in case of a rupture of communication with electronic archive of the central office.

Search capabilities

Solution "Logic of EHD. Technical documents" has flexible and modern search mechanisms and identifications of large volumes of data.

Search in a system is possible as attributive (on attributes metadata of documents), and full text (in texts of document files). For providing mechanisms of full-text search system architecture provides a special dedicated server of full text indexation and search. During the preserving or change of any document of a system the full text server updates information on an object, storing so-called full-text index in the separate directory.

When choosing a certain class type of an object (document) having additional attributes, search opportunities will be automatically expanded, offering the choice to the user on filling of the additional fields inherent to this type / document class. The functionality of the platform allows to expand search capabilities under certain requirements of business and is individual under each customer.
