Business Logic created electronic archive of the technical documentation for Ondsky hydroelectric power station

The company Business Logic"IT announced on September 20, 2017 (Group) execution of works on creation and filling of a system of electronic archive of technical documentation Andean hydroelectric power station.

Prerequisites

In the activity connected with operation of the equipment any gidro-or thermal power plants special attention is required to be paid to process of systematization and use of technical documentation which is historically submitted generally on paper carriers. For ensuring the structured storage of this documentation providing quick search of necessary documents on different attributes, a possibility of simultaneous use of one document by several persons exceptions of the losses including connected with decay of paper carriers on Ondsky hydroelectric power station were carried out works on digitization of the existing array of technical documentation with creation of a system of electronic archive.

Choice of the contractor

As a result of carrying out open competitive request for proposals on accomplishment of this work as the winner there was IT Group (Business Logic is included into this group). Specialists of the Center of scanning and retrospective conversion of Business Logic executed conversion to an electronic form of archive of technical documentation on hydraulic engineering constructions, the electrical and hydromechanical equipment and other objects, being a part of power plant. The volume of paper archive which was transferred to an electronic form was about 1000 volumes of technical documentation.

Project Results

As a result of project implementation on Ondsky hydroelectric power station time of access to documents decreased, the possibility of online multi-user access to technical documentation appeared. The document-oriented processes and important business challenges connected with use of technical documentation are optimized. Besides, the Ondsky hydroelectric power station received "insurance fund" of documents in electronic form on a case of risk of loss of originals for any reason, including technogenic character. Electronic images of documents and their search attributes were loaded into the system of electronic archive implemented based on the solution "Logic of EA" on the Alfresco platform|by Infoturnover WSWS.

On a response of technical specialists of Ondsky hydroelectric power station, according to the results of the project costs of time for search and processing of necessary drawings and passports of the equipment decreased, more conveniently and quicker began to work with large-format documents. The electronic archive reduced wear and risk of inadvertent damage of paper documents because of their age as many documents are stored from the moment of design and construction of the station, namely — from 50th years.
