On October 5, 2017 the CROC company announced knowledge management system implementation in engine-building company PJSC UEC Saturn.
Project Tasks
UEC Saturn was required to the management technology the solution which will help to reduce terms of accomplishment of Research and Development (research and development), to save and increase knowledge in the conditions of alternation of generations of engineers, to effectively exchange experience and skills, to implement the transparent mechanism of growth of competences of specialists of the company and also "close" a range of managerial tasks when maintaining projects.
For implementation of the tasks specialists of CROC implemented in UEC Saturn corporate social network based on Jive. She allows to organize joint work of employees over projects and to increase the level of their involvement. The social network fixes authorship of materials and activity of each employee that allowed the management to reveal UEC Saturn competence of specialists and implementation of models of corporate "elevator".
Project Progress
Before implementation specialists of the contractor booked audit of business processes, revealed "weak points" in knowledge management, developed a number of scenarios and methodology of storage, information exchange and experience in the company, created structure of the knowledge base.
Project Results
After start of a system specialists of design office began to work and fill up the knowledge base on each of the developed products. Each employee can learn which of colleagues to address which of them has the necessary competences or participated in similar projects what work is carried out on this or that product and other. This approach allows to reduce terms of accomplishment of Research and Development and to build the system of knowledge sharing between old residents and beginners.
