Portal-Yug brought into operation modular DPC of NOTA in Agrokompleks holding of N.I. Tkachyov

On October 24, 2017 the Portal-Yug system integrator announced putting into operation of a modular data processing center in agrarian holding "Agrokompleks" (the article. Settlements, Krasnodar Krai).

Need of creation of the additional center of processing (DPC) of data for Agrokompleks was dictated by the need for creation of scalable, reliable, safe and effective infrastructure for operation of the server hardware and storage systems of the main production and corporate IT services, for reservation of the information systems unrolled in the main data processing center which is available at Agrokompleks.

Project Progress

On the basis of the analysis of the solutions existing in the market and the held competition, the solution of World Data Centres of NOTA proposed by Portal-Yug company was selected.

The Modular Data Processing Center (MDPC) of NOTA represents the uniform engineering complex created based on Utilex company.

World Data Centres of NOTA are not an object of capital construction, do not require the base, are simple in installation that it allows to provide as much as possible deadlines of construction and start of DPC and to reduce costs for its creation and operation.

By forces of Portal-Yug company with assistance of manufacturing company in the territory of Agrokompleks it is created and brought into operation of World Data Centres of NOTA by dimensions 4.5 × 3.3 meters (dlina*shirin), including a raised floor, AUGPT (Novec 1230), the security fire warning, a thermal veil, the ACS, the main and reserve lighting.

The cooling system is implemented based on precision Clever Breeze conditioners of production "Utilex" with the level of reservation N+1. Conditioners are placed under a raised floor that allowed to save space and cost of the solution considerably. In composition - the closed subsystem of ultrasonic moistening which allows to operate World Data Centres without leading of routes of water supply and the sewerage.

The system of uninterruptible power supply is implemented based on the WattStream WS68.5-WX diesel generator set in own climatic container in which the automatic input of a reserve (AIR) is also set.

The system of placement of the equipment consisting of 3 racks of APC NetShelter, the system of uninterrupted power based on APC SYMMETRA is created by Specialists of Portal-Yug company. Specialists of Portal-Yug company executed installation of a fiber line of communication between the main and additional data processing centers 950 meters long, provided connection between DPCs at a speed 40gb/sec. by means of aggregation 10gb/sec. communication channels on ports of Cisco switches. In DPCs tuning of the Cisco routers ensuring functioning of the dynamic routing protocol BGP is performed. The server framework in DPCs same, interchangeable, is constructed using the server hardware on the platform of the chassis a blade servers of Dell M1000e and storage systems of Dell SC4020.

"This project became especially interesting to our company as based on our development was part MTSODA and the Clever Breeze cooling system patented by "Utilex" which is expected application in the conditions of extremely low and high temperatures.
