2018: New models

On January 19, 2018 the Shimadzu corporation produced four models for mini-invasive angiographic intervention like Bi-plane. The new systems entering Trinias line are intended for cardiological and neurologic interventions and also for carrying out manipulations at children.

A new angiographic system using a katetetr represents the radiological installation intended for installation of the stent for the purpose of expansion of stenozirovanny blood vessels or for inspection of the struck vessels. In comparison with x-ray scanning devices with a C-type frame, the new device allows to reduce use of contrast and duration of radiation approximately by 50% as a Bi-plane system can execute a radiological research in two projections along with use of two chains of image generation.

Besides, for 14 models of a line Trinias, including new products, the new SCORE StentShot application is released. It improves visibility of the stent, is significant (to 50%) reducing picture noises. At the same time the dose of x-ray radiation does not change. Besides, the company updated the SCORE StentView application for use on the full-screen monitor. This application helps to monitor the movement of the stent and displays the interesting area in real time. These two applications increase security of the invasive procedure.

Also it should be noted that new models are used in a complex with a multifunction table for survey of the patient of SMART table. Using the configured touchpad of SMART Touch the doctor can freely place the patient on a table in the necessary pose corresponding to a specific research. All this allows to reduce inspection time, helping to coordinate a flow of patients.^[1]

2017: Announcement

In October, 2017 the Shimadzu company announced a new series of kateterizatsionny laboratories Trinias Unity Edition. The equipment helps to perform less invasive surgeries, using processing of medical images in real time.

Trinias Unity Edition represents X-ray operating room, used in the course of invasive intervention at treatment of heart troubles, nervous system, abdominal cavity and other bodies using catheters.

The new line includes 10 different models. They are equipped with the special software of Flex-APS intended for reduction of artifacts of x-ray images. Software automatically optimizes each pixel in the course of a digital subtraction angiography which cornerstone the principle of computer subtraction (subtraction) of two images written in memory of the computer — pictures before introduction of contrast substance to a vessel is.

The table of kateterizatsionny laboratory Trinias Unity Edition supports different settings of arrangement and a command which can be given on the touch monitor.

Thanks to computer processing the final radiological picture of heart and vessels differs in high quality, but the main thing — on it can be selected the image of vessels from the general image of the studied part of a body, in particular to remove the disturbing shadows of soft fabrics and a skeleton and to quantitatively estimate haemo dynamics 

The producer notes that the new Trinias Unity Edition systems are created in support of a trend at which the size of kateterizatsionny laboratories decreases and their quality grows, the volume of the used contrast substances is reduced and possibilities of diagnostics and treatment using different devices extend.^[2]
