In P.I. Tchaikovsky's memorial estate documents and graphics are digitized

On November 1, 2017 ELAR corporation announced digitization of nearly 17,000 objects from funds of the State memorial musical memorial estate of P.I. Tchaikovsky. Among the digitized materials – letters, documents and manuscripts of the great composer.

System work on digitization of documents from fund of hand-written and printing sources allows the museum to use intensively in scientific work electronic copies of materials, to provide them to researchers, without being afraid for their safety.

In addition to documents and manuscripts specialists of ELAR corporation transferred to an electronic form more than 1,600 exhibits from fund of graphics.

Electronic copies of exhibits will be used by the museum at the organization of exhibition, educational and other projects, ensuring restoration and research works and also for obligatory inclusion in the State directory of Museum fund of the Russian Federation.
