In "The first tower company" the subsystem Budgeting is implemented

2020: Implementation of a subsystem Budgeting

In February, 2020 Gradum announced implementation of a subsystem Budgeting in PBK.

In 2018 JSC PBK together with GRADUM company implemented the project on implementation of a complex of solutions "1C: Corporation" (on 1C: Enterprise platform CORP) which included "1C: Holding Management", "1C: Document Flow 8 CORP", "1C: Payroll and HR Management 8 CORP". Further works on development of the separate functional directions started, of them the Budgeting block became next.

Specialists of GRADUM company were also engaged in development project implementation. Tasks of this project included implementation of a subsystem Budgeting regarding development of the annual budget, the operating plan, the forecast and the fact on budgets of accounting functions and also the master budget "Р&L". In addition to automation, specialists of GRADUM before works adapted the available methodology. Implementation of functional unit allowed to consolidate information regarding budgeting and provided a versioning of these budgets. A common information space for preparation of budgets is created and time necessary for their preparation was reduced. The developed functionality also has potential of further development for implementation of other types of budgets.

2017: Completion of implementation of 1C: Corporation

Recently created absolute child structure of MegaFon — "The First Tower Company" (FTC) — completed enterprise management system implementation on the platform "1C: Corporation". In October, 2017 in it the first quarter reporting of the organization was prepared. At the moment in a system about 1200 users work. The director of information technology in PBK Zaytsev Evgeny^[1] reported about it ^[2].

PBK is the company in which Megafon in July, 2017 transferred a number of the infrastructure facilities to fixed assets, first of all 15 thousand antenna and mast constructions (towers) for placement of the operator equipment — base stations of communication. Zaytsev calls such differentiation the universal trend connected with the fact that it is profitable to use the useful area of ready towers not solely, and to lease to a wide range of the interested rival operators.

System implementation was performed from April to July, 2017. Acted as integrator of the project Gradum — joint structure of the companies "The first BIT" and "Axelot". The contract with the contractor was signed according to the results of the closed competition which is won back in March to which PBK invited the largest partners "1C".

The enterprise management system was necessary for PBK for item-by-item accounting of income and costs, accounting and tax accounting, document flow, accounting according to IFRS, personnel records and payroll.

In spite of the fact that salons of MegaFon are automated on the solution "1C: Retail", Zaytsev separately emphasizes that all infrastructure of this operator is historically unrolled on SAP solutions. "Naturally we could not construct everything from scratch and separate — Zaytsev notes. — We subsidiary company of Megafon, also should follow certain corporate standards".

And still a choice was made for benefit of 1C that the top manager explains mainly with simplicity of a system and speed of its implementation. "I will frankly tell, at the moment in Russia there is no system which can be implemented in three months. Except the system of 1C — Zaytsev says — We understand at once that we will take a maximum from a box and further we will make that delta which is necessary for us to conform to standards of Megafon".

From other reasons of the choice of a product of the domestic developer Zaytsev calls the minimum total cost of ownership by it and also autonomy of work of the solution — an opportunity to select the IT system of PBK from a landscape of MegaFon. "We needed to construct the infrastructure selected completely potentially to have a possibility of involvement of other shareholders and redistribution of a share in capital stock of our company — Zaytsev explains. — So we have a separate system, and potentially we can be selected from Megafon at any time".
