Rosbank uses IBM Power Systems for preparation of financial statements

Rosbank which is a part of Societe General international financial group provides the reporting to both the Russian, and European regulators. The bank set the task of improvement of quality of training of data, fault tolerances and scalabilities of the system intended for formation of financial statements using upgrade of the corporate data warehouse. In particular, a new system should conform to the requirement of the BCBS 239 standard "Principles of aggregation of risks and submission of the reporting under risks".

IBM together with the business partner of IBS Platformix helped Rosbank to achieve an effective objective by means of upgrade of IT infrastructure using IBM Power Systems and to system implementation of quality control and a uniform data model based on solutions of IBM for banking sector.

Changes:

• Improvement of quality of the reporting from an obespecheniyemprozrachnost of data streams and algorithms of calculations
• Reduction of number of failures and incidents
• Decrease in operational risks from implementation of new releases of a system as in the project progress the full-fledged infrastructure landscape was created. It included four environments: for development, testing, certification, the industrial environment and also a system after disaster recovery
• Improvement of performance measures of a system due to optimization of loading procedures and transformation of data
