MIRhosting Cloud is a cloud platform (PaaS) for development and deployment of web applications.

Features

It is provided to clients the uniform environment containing different modules is provided: servers DB and applications, programming languages, balancers, etc. It is possible to regulate manually or automatically the volume of the resources consumed by both all environment, and separate modules in it.

The minimum unit of tariffing is klaudlt (128 MB of memory and 400 MHz of the processor). For work of each element of an environment their any quantity is used. For fixation of the maximum level of costs it is possible to set restrictions for consumption of klaudlet using simple settings.

Complex of the used software

• Odin Virtuozzo, Odin Virtuozzo for Windows is a platform hybrid for virtualization (hypervisors + containers) with the distributed cloud storage.
• Odin Cloud Storage is the solution of failsafe file storage for the virtual systems which provides instant migration, the local speed of I/O.
• Jelastic is an orkestrator of a cloud and the developer of the platform (PaaS) and also the solution on billing of a cloud and accounting of resources.
• R1Soft is the solution for creation of reserve molds and disaster recovery of data (Disaster Recovery). Thanks to work at the level of the core module, molds are removed almost instantly without creation of loading.

Infrastructure and equipment

• Regions: MIRhosting Cloud is unrolled in the main location of MIRhosting — the Netherlands. Other locations of the company — the USA and Russia in the course of testing and start.
• At least 2 data centers in the region: each location consists at least of two physical data centers with multiple communication channels among themselves which work as uniform network and infrastructure space of a cloud. At failure of one data center it will not influence work of a cloud.
• Own network infrastructure: network infrastructure is based on own equipment, Internet resources and AS and network peer-to-peer connections, allowing to perform peer-to-peer policy independently.
• DDoS-protection: the cloud is protected by several levels of network protection, including also protection against DDoS attacks. The vast majority of modern DDoS attacks is filtered in the background.
• Own equipment: all equipment is owned by Innovation IT Solutions Corp. presented at the market by the MIRhosting brand.

2017: Start of the platform MIRhosting in Russia

The MIRhosting company announced on November 17, 2017 official opening of the platform in Russia. Since October, 2017 the cloud solution of MIRhosting is deployed based on data centers of 3Data.ru in Moscow for the Russian and international customers.

Data center in Moscow — the third location of MIRhosting, along with double data centers in the USA and the Netherlands. Network connection between locations is implemented by backup channels. Total capacity of external channels — more than one terabit per second.

Russia is the priority direction for the company. Advantages of a cloud hosting in the territory of the Russian Federation are interesting to both the Russian, and European clients: now there is an opportunity to collect and store personal data on servers in Russia according to requirements of the local legislation and if necessary to duplicate them in a cloud in Holland or the USA — Andrey Nesterenko, the CEO of MIRhosting commented on an event.

At such scenario legal and financial interaction remains in the legal framework of the Netherlands or is transferred to Russia at the request of the customer. Management of services in all three locations is implemented from a uniform control panel.

In Russia MIRhosting for the first time started a cloud solution based on the latest version of the Jelastic platform for deployment of difficult microservices in Docker Swarm Cluster — the technical director of MIRhosting Alexey Yermak added.
