TechnoSoft develops mobile application of Promsvyazbank on Agile-methodology

In November, 2017 the Technoserv Consulting company announced that the TechnoSoft company especially for clients of Promsvyazbank develops mobile application on Agile-methodology.

Project Task

The main objective of the project — to increase the speed of implementation of banking products. The command TechnoSoft works on Scrum — flexible methodology of software development that allows to trace and make any changes to an implementation project quickly. Using such approach it was succeeded to increase performance. Now clients of Promsvyazbank three times more often receive updates of mobile application.

Scrum allows to do more frequent updates for the end user that helps to execute wishes and requests of clients in a short space of time. For example, earlier users received updates of times in 4-6 months, by this moment a part of requests already became outdated, and a part just was not considered. Using Scrum methodology releases are issued every two months, and a task for the near future — monthly updates.

The reached effect

Earlier process of approval and placement of the developed application in the industrial environment began only after the end of development that led to increase in term of finishing a product up to end users. As of November, 2017, process is included in a continual loop of changes: the operational division and divisions of cybersecurity are attracted at early stages of development and testing. Thus, product yield term in commercial operation is reduced, explained in "Technoserv Consulting".

The set of updates entered the last release: execution of requests for banking products, safe browse mode for non-standard firmwares of Android, service of registration of safety certificates for exit employees of the bank, editing earlier created payment orders and other — Andrey Ovsyannikov, the vice president for information technologies of Promsvyazbank told.

Objectives

As the bank representative, in plans of the organization — to cover the customer needs designated on the near future releases added: financial analytics, online credits, requests for opening of the account, request for release of the safety certificate, section of an input, system of analytics of users, section of payment templates and many other things.
