EVRAZ optimized HR processes based on SAP SuccessFactors

On November 30, 2017 SAP also EVRAZ announced project completion on process automation of talent management on the platform SAP SuccessFactors. Implementation was performed by the company ABC Consulting.

During the project processes of search of candidates, creation of career and formation of a talent pool, goal setting and personel assessment which are applied, including to bonus calculation on totals of KPI of employees were automated.

The SAP solution integrated the specified HR processes of holding within one system that allowed to reduce a share of "manual" work, to collect diverse information and documents in one source, to increase the involvement of heads into assessment of employees and also to close 80% of vacancies at the expense of internal resources of the company.

The project is of great importance as a tools component on implementation of general strategy of the company. With SuccessFactors SAP implementation EVRAZ received the complete solution which allowed to create unified information environment of talent management. Process of circular estimates of employees was completely automated and assessment of accomplishment of the individual development plan is developed for a talent pool of the company.

Not only the efficiency of the process, but also comfort of internal service is important for us. The implementing solution SAP SuccessFactors helped to create for employees idle time, uniform and the intuitive interface of interaction with HR and line managers. Besides, the cloud technology at the heart of the solution allowed to provide these services not only being directly in a workplace, but also is far outside office, using mobile devices.

After creation of a single system search of personnel due to saving of time for formation of a qualitative initial pool of potential candidates accelerated. Labor costs were considerably reduced by the procedure of preparation of cards with information on applicants for a vacancy for personnel committee. If on filling before one questionnaire about an hour, then now — about 5 minutes left. Only 20% of process of preparation are a manual work as 80% of information are in a system: employee's profile, his results and estimates of KPI in the last two years, level of training, etc. Also in a system it is possible to carry out search in necessary parameters.
