MTS the IIoT-platform for industrial Internet of Things

The platform for industrial Internet of Things from MTS is intended for deployment of solutions based on Internet of Things at the enterprises of Russia.

2017: Start

On December 7, 2017 the MTS company announced start of the IoT-platform for installation of technologies on the platform of Internet of Things.

The platform for industrial Internet of Things allows to manage any objects on which it is necessary to trace equipment operation parameters. The IoT-platform of MTS has open API (application programming interface, the program interface of the application) and supports work with data networks of a different type. By means of this technology acting the equipment and IT systems of the enterprise connect to sensors, cameras, robots and programs. Subjects to connection to the platform can work in areas, hardly accessible for communication, in the different ends of the country, but be controlled from the uniform center.

The IoT-platform is focused on control of the equipment of manufacturing enterprises, power supply and service companies:

• control pressure in boiler houses,
• ventilation and air conditioning systems,
• refrigeration chambers,
• power supply systems
  • transformer substations,
  • DGU,
  • GPU,
  • mini-combined heat and power plant,

• water supply systems
  • pump and compressor stations.

The platform allows to implement solutions for agriculture, logistics, objects of a commercial real estate and other spheres.

The sensors and controllers connected to secure channels of communication send data to the protected cloud of MTS in which they are processed in real time and then go to the cloud storage.

To control operation of the equipment and to create reports it is possible in the web interface or usual programs, having connected them to the IoT-platform of MTS using API. The special hardware solution – a hub is responsible for fast synergy of IT of the enterprise with the IoT-platform. He adapts under tasks and allows to connect standard and non-standard protocols and organization designs to a cloud. Safety of the IoT-platform of MTS is ensured by the protected protocols of enciphering SSL and HTTPS, network antivirus and the center of protection against cyberthreats.

The platform uses predictive model of predictions — expects wear of the equipment and possible failures before critical situations. In cases when the equipment approaches critical duties of work, the manager will receive the notification on the computer screen, in the SMS and e-mail. It will reduce costs on service maintenance and will prevent the losses connected with breakdown of the equipment.

On the basis of the IoT-platform the service of Teleuchet of data is implemented. Earlier data collection and control of the equipment happened by installation in it telematic SIM cards, connection of a special rate and service M2M-menezher. The IoT-platform gives the complete solution of production tasks, integrates all elements of infrastructure of the company in a single system^[1].
