ELAR created a digital resource on the basis of archive documents of "Department of the property and land relations of Administration of the Vladimir region"

On December 12, 2017 ELAR Corporation announced creation of a digital resource on the basis of archive documents of Department of the property and land relations of Administration of the Vladimir region.

Within the project works on digitization of 70,000 pages of the archive documents created in 769 volumes are performed. Archivings at transfer to an electronic form could not be embroidered and therefore their scanning is carried out on contactless scanners of planetary type. For indexing, i.e. extraction from digital copies of the key attributive information necessary for document retrieval in the system of electronic archive, are used both manual, and software technologies.

The digital information resource created by ELAR in the form of electronic copies of documents and the database is loaded into an automated system of electronic archive of department of the property and land relations of the Vladimir region.

"The project will allow to create a common information space for the staff of division of regional administration and to make more effective their workflows. In particular, operating by documents and data in electronic form will significantly reduce search time and providing archive documents. Also the number of transactions which are made by specialists of department with paper originals of documents will decrease, – primary sources will replace with digital copies".
