Kuban State University with a degree in psychology. He has a Ph.D. in Psychology.
In 2005, she began her professional development at Coca-Cola HBC Eurasia, joining the recruitment team in the Moscow region.
In 2006, professional merits allowed her to take the position of recruitment manager in the Moscow region, and later - talent development manager.
In 2009, she headed the recruitment team in the Moscow region at Coca-Cola HBC Eurasia. As a regional HR manager, she was responsible for Urals Siberia and the Far East, and also oversaw HR project the merger of SSN companies Multan in 2010.
Since 2011, she has held the position of business partner for human resources of the commercial function.

As of December 2017, Irina Petrova is the HR Director of Coca-Cola HBC Russia, where she implemented projects to increase employee engagement, which, according to Tower Watson's global rating, led to an increase in the Engagement Index (SEI) from 65% in 2015 to 91% in 2021.
2022: Director of Organizational Transformation and Personnel, M.Video-Eldorado
On July 11, 2022, M.Video-Eldorado Group announced that the Board of Directors of M.Video PJSC had decided to appoint Irina Petrova to the position of Director for Organizational Transformation and Personnel of the Group. Irina Ivanova, who headed this block earlier, moves to the post of adviser and will concentrate on the company's strategy.
