2018: Date leak of a half of the population of Norway
As a result of the hacker attack which took place in January, 2018, the unknown criminal or group of malefactors could steal medical data more than half of the population of Norway.
According to the Bleeping Computer edition, on January 8, 2018 hackers illegally got into a computer system of regional government of health care of Health South-East RHF supervising hospitals of a southeast part of the country. The organization announced the cracking fact on Monday, January 15 after HelseCERT, the national center for data protection of a health care system of Norway warned Health South-East RHF about suspicious activity in its network.
The investigation made by the IT staff of Sykehuspartner HF, parent structure of Health South East RHF revealed signs of serious date leak.
The matter is that in department of Health South-East RHF there are medical institutions of 9 of 18 areas of Norway, including Akerskhus (including the capital of Norway of Oslo), Eust-Agder, Buskerud, Hedmark, Opplann, Estfoll, Telemark, Vest-Agder and Vestfoll. Hospitals service about 2.9 million people from the general population of Norway in 5.2 million inhabitants.
According to HelseCert, the hackers involved in theft of data were experienced and acted professionally, reports the British edition V3.co.uk.[1]

In the joint press release concerning an incident of Health South East RHF and Sykehuspartner HF said that the situation is very serious and that the organizations already take measures for restriction of damage from cracking.[2]
