The medical dialysis downtown Ulyanovsk provides routine out-patient maintenance of patients with a terminal stage of chronic diseases of the kidneys needing replacement kidney therapy.

Financing of work of the center is performed within the Territorial program of the state guarantees of free rendering medical care to citizens in the territory of the Ulyanovsk region.

History

2018: 10-year anniversary

On January 29, 2018 in Ulyanovsk celebrated 10-year anniversary from the date of opening of the first medical dialysis center of Fresenius company. As of January, in the center equipped with 44 modern devices "artificial kidney" more than 300 patients receive replacement kidney therapy.

Our company works in the Russian Federation more than 30 years. As of January, 2018, more than 50 dialysis centers in 25 regions of the country where receives necessary treatment more than 6500 patients are opened. This year we celebrate anniversary of the dialysis center in the city of Ulyanovsk. It was the first investment project of the company in the territory of Russia. In the area three such dialysis centers work already. We are proud that Ulyanovsk region became that a starting point which gave start to development of the dialysis help on the basis of state-private cooperation in Russia — the CEO of "Frezenius Medikal Kea" in Russia Alexey Myagkov emphasized.

According to experts, at a chronic renal failure three methods of therapy — transplantation of a kidney, a hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis are applied. At the same time the percent of the patients living with donor organs is very low: transplantation is shown to not all patients, the few successfully undergo an operation on renal transplantation. Dialysis procedures which represent purification of blood as own kidneys of patients do not cope with this task remain the main methods of treatment.

The hemodialysis helps to provide to patients about rather high level of life and on average increases its duration for 25-30 years. Thanks to investment policy we continue to increase availability of this type of the help to inhabitants of the region. As of January, 2018, in the area five such centers work already. Two dialysis centers "Frezenius" opened in Ulyanovsk, one more organization of the European level began to work in 2016 in Novospassky district, two centers assist in the territory of Dimitrovgrad. The sixth center is created in Inzensky district. He will earn in the nearest future that he will allow to bring closer vital procedures for residents of rural settlements — the Minister of Health, families and social wellbeing of the Ulyanovsk region Rasheed Abdullov noted.[1]

2007: Creation

The center of out-patient dialysis was created in December, 2007 with assistance of the Governor of the Ulyanovsk region Sergey Morozov based on regional clinical hospital on the basis of the agreement between the Government of the Ulyanovsk region and Frezenius Nefrokea LLC company (NephroCare is activity of Fresenius Medical Care company).
