Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works automates investigation of incidents based on the solution Visitech

At the end of 2017 in Magnitogorsk agreement signature between the company Visitech and Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works on implementation of the module "Management of Incidents" the integrated system of security of works (ISSOW) took place.

Project Tasks

Implementation of a pilot project of ISSOW is a part of global strategy of MMK on automation and digitalization of the block of industrial security and labor protection. It is expected that formation of uniform methodological and element base for transition of all production divisions of the company to a uniform order of investigation of incidents, identifications of the root reasons and increase in the general safety culture will become result of implementation of the module.

Module

The functionality of the module is based on use of the advanced world practices and methodologies on investigation of incidents and identification of the root reasons of incidents. The operation algorithm of the module "Management of Incidents" is based on machine learning.

The expected effect

According to the management of MMK, implementation of a hardware and software system from Visitech — the resident of Skolkovo Foundation — will allow to reduce systematically the number of incidents and incidents at the enterprise and also to form global analytics and to estimate efficiency of accomplishment of actions for investigation.

Objectives

It is in the future going to implement the comprehensive program on process automation of internal control in the field of operating activities included in the general IT infrastructure of the enterprise.
