SL-R is the manual slot lamp for diagnosis of eye diseases.

2018: Beginning of deliveries

The Schwabe holding of State Corporation Rostec in February, 2018 produced production lot of the domestic manual SL-R slot lamp for diagnosis of eye diseases. Products already came to official dealer network of the Moscow region enterprise of the optical industry.

According to holding, the first Russian manual slot lamp for biomicroscopic inspection of front department of an eye for two years was developed by engineers of the Zagorsk Optical-Mechanical Plant (ZOMP) of Schwabe holding. According to the CEO of ZOMZ Andrejs Rastorgujevs, investments into project implementation made about 3.4 million rubles.

The device received the advanced domestic optics and design. According to a statement Schwab, as of February, 2018 the lamp has no analogs in Russia and at the same time does not concede on technical characteristics of products of foreign producers.

Our development successfully passed all necessary technical tests, registration in Roszdravnadzor and is included in the equipment list of the Russian Ministry of Health intended for equipment of children's ophthalmologic departments in hospitals and clinics of the country. In January the first SL-R are delivered in medical institutions of the Central and Southern federal districts — the deputy CEO Schwab Ivan Ozhgikhin reported.

The manual slot lamp of domestic production is compact by the sizes. With its help doctors can diagnose pathology of an iris of the eye, inflammation a century, sklerit, a cataract, dystrophic changes of a cornea and other diseases. The device is intended for diagnosis of diseases at adults, children and also can be used in veterinary practice.

The microscope as a part of the device is capable to increase sections of an eye of the patient in 10, 16 and 25.6 times that allows the ophthalmologist to make the correct diagnosis with a fine precision. The microscope also has a big interval of diopter aiming of eyepieces (±5) and smooth change of width of a slot in range from 0 to 10 mm. SL-R works from independent power sources — finger-type batteries or the accumulator at the expense of what it can be used in stationary conditions, mobile offices and at survey of patients at home.

The lamp is made of domestic components and conforms to international standards of security. The technical solutions put in a basis of this development do not concede to the advanced world achievements in ophthalmologic instrument making. Representatives of medical community of Russia, in particular, the acting ophthalmologists of the country, highly appreciated device performances during its trial operation in medical institutions of Russia — Andrejs Rastorgujevs told.
