2019: Adding of means of identification of TouchID and FaceID

On January 28, 2019 the company Artezio reported that developers of the company finished the mobile application PhotoVault, having added technological means identifications. Information, which is stored in the special closed folders, will be up it is protected to standard operating system iOS.

According to the company, the PhotoVault application represents the virtual safe allowing to hide photos, video, notes and contacts. It is enough to move private files to the folders offered by the program then they cannot be found or browsed without additional identification.

Developers aimed to minimize a possibility of accidental access to files when the smartphone is unblocked or the password to it is known not only to the owner. Now users of the application can apply to data protection both the character password, and the modern systems of identification TouchID (on a fingerprint) and FaceID (recognition of the person).

PhotoVault not only has potential of the hidden storage of files, but has functions which reduce the probability of unauthorized access. The application is able to mask under system programs. A system monitors all attempts of cracking and takes pictures of people who wanted to look at the hidden folders.

2018: Release

In February, 2018 the release of the Photo Vault application (Fotoseyf) for iOS from Artezio company took place (LANIT group).

The program allows to place in confidential storage on iPhone any files, access to which can be got, knowing the sequence of digits set in settings. At the same time the application can mask under system programs, changing an icon on a smartphone desktop. A similar mimicry — the additional level of personal information protection from unauthorized access.

Among other Fotoseyfa functions — a possibility of installation of the false password. It opens separate storage, with other set of images and files. It allows to keep primary partition with confidential data safe. It is possible to import files from any structure of Apple or from the cloud storage of iCloud. Loading of files through the iTunes program is available.

Producers of the mobile equipment put a lot of effort and allocate considerable funds for more perfect personal data protection. However they cannot protect information from viewing on the unblocked device. All the same there is a risk that the user himself will open a hole to the files. Our application minimizes chance that photos or notes will be available at a standard unblocking of the mobile device — Igor Esipovich, the head of department of mobile development of Artezio noted.

Fotoseyf allows not only to hide data, but also to monitor cracking attempts. In case of the wrong password entry the smartphone photographs the person who tried to come into the application.

Installation of the application requires IOS 11.0 or more the late version. Compatibly to iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE, iPhone 7. The cost of the program is 299 rubles (the complete version).
