In February, 2018 TAdviser knew of a pilot project in the RPF connected using the security terminals VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, infrastructure of virtual desktops) on the basis of the protected KasperskyOS operating system and a hypervisor of Kaspersky Secure Hypervisor working based on this OS. Within the project the solution is approved on several terminals in the Pension fund.
Kaspersky Secure Hypervisor implements or on the thin client, or on a standard automated workplace several containers which are separated among themselves, and manages data exchange between all containers and between a container and the outside world.
In a pilot project of RPF in one container the entrusted guest OS, in another – not entrusted with which the end user works is unrolled. All means on which security of a final workplace depends are in the entrusted OS, including an antivirus. Does not contain in the second OS of like those. In case of RPF of not entrusted guest OS in a pilot project Windows 7 is.
