On February 15 the companies Siemens also OTEK signed the contract for creation of a digital station complex of a system of the automated dissolution of trains on a hump yard of the Panagiya station (Krasnodar Krai). It is supposed that the overworking capability of the station with the car yard on 48 ways will make 80 million tons of a load a year. The contract with a total cost more than 3 billion rubles is signed in the presence of the chairman Governments of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev and the governor of Krasnodar Krai Veniamin Kondratyev. The signatures under the document were appended by Michel Litvak, the chairman of the board of directors of JSC OTEKO, and Dietrich Moeller, the president of Siemens of century Russia.
Prerequisites
"OTEKO" continues intensive development of terminal capacities in the port of Taman — Michel Litvak told. — In 2018 we are going to bring the Tamansky terminal of bulk cargoes with a production capacity of 35 million tons per year into operation. Considering the deficit of port capacities for transfer of loose loads existing in Russia, the power of the terminal of bulk cargoes is going to increase to 64 million tons per year, from them 50 million tons of coal / iron ore raw materials (loading of courts with a deadweight up to 220,000 tons is supposed - maximum the size of bulk carriers capable to pass Bosphorus), 7 million tons of sulfur, 7 million tons of mineral fertilizers. Automation of the Panagiya station is very important step in creation of a world-class transshipment complex. The station will also process the cargo flow following to future perspective sea OTEKO terminals. I will note that OTEKO Group conducts implementation of the projects completely due to private investments, without attraction of financial resources from federal or regional budgets. |
Project Progress
As reported, the hump yard at the Panagiya station will become the Russia's first sorting office of uncommon use where the digital system of so high performance will be installed. The Siemens company will carry out a full range of works on equipment installation for digitalization and control automation by transportation process of the station. The automated system of MSR-32 applied in the car yard will allow to exclude a factor of a human error at dissolution of cars of the hill, to quickly distinguish and make corrections at change of working conditions (air humidity, wind, temperature). It, in turn, will help to exclude completely use of shunting locomotives that will increase the speed of processing of a cargo flow and safety of work of all complex of railway infrastructure.
The expected effect
The system of the automated dissolution will provide operational processing of structures to the terminal of bulk cargoes and the grain terminal. In its construction the positive operating experience of similar devices of the company will be used.
For us it is very significant that the OTEKO group selected Siemens the partner for implementation of so important and large-scale infrastructure project. It will be the first hump yard at the station of uncommon use where a system with a similar power, technical equipment and also with such volume of the applied digital solutions will be installed — Dietrich Moeller said. |
