Rostelecom and Ngenix: a cloud solution for protection and acceleration of web resources

Rostelecom together with the Ngenix company entering into Rostelecom group in February, 2018 presented a cloud solution for protection and acceleration of web resources. As expected, implementing solution will allow Rostelecom to expand a line of services of information security and to offer clients the protection mechanisms which are successfully tested by Ngenix company.

The cloud solution allows corporate clients to receive multilevel protection of web resources against a broad spectrum of the attacks without disclosure of "sensitive data", such as bank secrecy and personal data of clients. Protection against DDoS attacks, operation of vulnerabilities of web applications and other illegal acts of cybercriminals (Web Application Firewall), acceleration of the website due to use of a content delivery network (CDN) and also the protected distributed DNS service is a part of the solution. The cloud solution does not require connection to a certain telecom operator and also purchase of the equipment and licenses and keeping of staff of specialists in information security that allows the client to be focused on development of the business, and tasks of information security to transfer to outsourcing.
