Valenta of Pharm and CROC announced the Russia's first application of augmented reality on pharmaceutical market

On September 4, 2018 the CROC company announced application programming for Valenta Pharm company on the basis of technologies of augmented reality.

According to the company, developed by specialists of CROC, mobile AR-application opens opportunities for communication, helping quickly, easily and visualize well large volumes difficult for perception and specialized information.

The interactive scenario at the heart of an AR-application allows to demonstrate the mechanism of effect of the medicines "Valenta Pharm": from the moment of hit of medicine in a human body before its impact on an affected area. In addition, the AR-application developed by CROC is used for demonstration of a production process of medicines.

The tool of augmented reality opens presentation opportunities for Valenta Pharm company and can be used in the solution of a broad spectrum of tasks where detailed visualization of difficult data or processes is necessary. It is expected that the staff of the pharmaceutical company will use an AR-application within the exhibitions, conferences, webinars and other activities.

According to representatives of the company, the AR-application is developed for tablets and smartphones with support operating system iOS. That to activate it it is necessary to point mobile the device camera at the special AR tag placed on any printing or digital medium. After that the AR-application will offer the user at choice: demonstration of the mechanism of effect of medicine or visualization of a production process of the medicines "Valenta Pharm".

Beginning work on the project for Valent of Pharm, we understood that the technology of augmented reality most fully will help to disclose the innovation nature of the company. At a consulting stage we offered a technological method of the report of information on the company, products and a production process of medicines - an AR-application format. Such tools help to change qualitatively approaches to communications due to deeper interaction with content. It allows to be beyond traditional formats and well to show, for example, the difficult mechanism of effect of pharmaceutical medicines. Cooperation of CROC with Valenta Pharm company allowed to implement a case, the first for the Russian pharmaceutical market, on implementation of AR and to show how digital technologies become demanded and are built in communication activity of the hi-tech companies. For new scientific-industrial complex "Valenta" which total area is 19 thousand sq.m the command of CROC created wired networks of data transmission, unrolled Wi-Fi infrastructure and installed the system of ensuring network security based on Cisco. Thanks to a uniform communication field the staff of office divisions of the company always stays in touch now at the solution production and business challenges, and experts of the isolated laboratories have Wi-Fi access to internal resources in real time. Besides, IT solutions are available to employees of a warehouse to data collection based on Wi-Fi which allow to increase the speed of operating activities on accounting and updating of reserves of medicines and raw materials.

For accomplishment of the tasks connected with development and production control of medicines, personal and corporate mobile devices of staff of Valenta scientific-industrial complex are connected to wireless by Wi-fi of network. This solution allowed to provide instant access to internal information with systems (databases of accounting, warehouse stocks, document flow) and also to establish cooperation of personnel on internal communication channels – the IP telephony, an e-mail, messengers.

Wi-fi technologies allow specialists of Valenta Pharm company to solve much quicker production problems, using including mobile devices. So, for example, the staff of quality control department can enter data into the system, being in any point a pharmpredpriyatiya, without binding to a workplace. Engineers will much quicker make setup of the equipment, having remote access to the specification or an opportunity to discuss an issue with colleagues in online the mode directly from the tablet.

To carry out the continuous accounting of raw materials and medicinal components directly in laboratory, all technology equipment of Valenta Pharm company is connected to Wi-fi network. Thus data on development and creation of medicines (what materials are used into what equipment are loaded in what volume) instantly come to uniform base of accounting.

The infrastructure created by Wi-fi also helps to automate work of a warehouse. For this purpose a stroke-skannery with which the personnel work are integrated with the system of an inventory control of Valenta Pharm company. It allows to accelerate many times process of acceptance, a holiday and inventory of raw materials and medicines.
