Gazprom Neft Shelf Visitech entrusted ensuring industrial security on the Prirazlomnaya platform

In February, 2018 it became known that the Gazprom Neft Shelf company, the affiliated enterprise PJSC Gazprom Neft conducting development of Prirazlomnoye oil field entrusted ensuring industrial security on the Arctic object to the resident of Skolkovo Foundation — Visitech company.

Project Tasks

The Sea Ice-resistant Stationary Platform (SIRSP) Prirazlomnaya is the first oil-extracting project on the Russian Arctic shelf. Risk minimization on the platform, capable to cause accidents and injury rate, was decided to be entrusted not people, and intelligent systems — the advanced technological solutions automating and optimizing business processes in the field of industrial security and labor protection which are widely presented at the market by both the western, and domestic IT companies.

Choice of the contractor

The European company for which high-quality accomplishment of a task was excessive was involved in implementation of this project for Gazprom Neft Shelf company with the first — the partner who is deeply submerged in specifics of the Russian oil industry and having expert experience in application of the high intellectual technologies for providing high standards of security was necessary.

Therefore within federal interaction of Gazprom Neft and Skolkovo Foundation implementation essentially of different technological approach to ensuring industrial security, labor protection and environmental protection was entrusted Visitech company which software products of a QHSE class are demanded in the oil and gas industry.

Key task of the automated control system for production security of ISSOW for us is increase in level of production security and control of work of the increased danger on MLSP Prirazlomnaya. When choosing the partner in this direction, priority for us, it was important to exclude a possibility of influence of sanctions risks on business processes of Gazprom Neft Shelf LLC by implementation and operation of the domestic software — Oleg Gaydukov, the head of department of industrial and environmental safety, labor protection and civil protection of Gazprom Neft Shelf LLC explained.

Project Tasks

The agreement on implementation of the intellectual ISSW (The Integrated System of Security of Works) technology was signed at the beginning of February, 2018. As expected, this system will allow to control and reduce operational risks, ensuring thereby complex safety of the platform, personnel and the environment and also an opportunity less than in a second to receive operational information reports and the analytical reporting which will allow the corporate center of Gazprom Neft to control far off processes and to make timely management decisions.

Project implementation is planned for the end of 2018. The accent is put on complex approach to security, considering intention of company management Gazprom Neft Shelf to annually increase efficiency of the platform at the expense of cost optimization and business processes, implementations of the technological solutions proposed by the market.

Perspective development of the project assumes digitalization of production by means of implementation of technologies of the Industry 4.0, namely machine learning (machine learning) and predictive analytics (PA).
