Simple implemented the warehouse management system WMS Logistics Vision Suite

On March 6, 2018 the "ant Technologies" company announced system implementation of management of the warehouse Logistics Vision Suite in warehouses of the importer and distributor of Simple alcoholic products.

Project Tasks

The purpose of implementation of the WMS system consisted in need of optimization of work of logistic network of the company, organization of effective management of internal processes of warehouses.

Choice of a system and supplier

The choice of the WMS system and the supplier of the solution was made on the basis of tender for automation of the central warehouse complex, of 12000 sq.m. When choosing the supplier of the WMS system there was a purpose to organize in the warehouse Simple modern technology processes and technologies with the high level of automation that would allow to configure thinly logistic processes for ensuring necessary employees productivity, achievements of high accuracy of transactions. To criteria more there corresponded the Logistics Vision Suite system of Ant Technologies company with which work was continued.

Project Progress

In the project progress specialists of Ant Technologies described business processes of the automated warehouse under which Logistics Vision Suite was configured. The implementation project of Logistics Vision Suite in Simple company differs in high extent of customization of a system under requirements and features of the customer. As processes depend on type of the processed products and qualifying standards, the warehouse is constructed with difficult logic of acceptance, placement, reservation, control and consolidation of goods flows. Intensive activity of Simple and great plans on development of the company imposed special requirements to high-speed performance of a system and opportunities of fast risk-free scaling and change of processes.

In two and a half months prior to input of a warehouse in operation under control of LVS Simple made the decision on initial start of less loaded warehouse in St. Petersburg which functionality strongly differs from the main warehouse complex. Specialists of Ant Technologies reviewed all processes and functionality, made necessary changes. Works on the Logistics Vision Suite setup under logic of the main warehouse were continued. In May, 2017 works were finished, the main warehouse in Moscow was put into operation under control of Logistics Vision Suite.

Project Results

The company management of Simple is positive for work of the implemented solution. The functionality of the Logistics Vision Suite system and a possibility of its development due to operational completion satisfy to needs of the customer. The integrator managed to automate processes of warehouses, to provide influence minimization of "a human factor" on the course of processes of warehouses, to optimize activity of logistic network.
