The announcement of the smartphone for corporate use of MIG C55

On December 24, 2019 the company Mobile Inform Group and the company "Open mobile platform" provided smartphone for corporate use of MIG C55 on domestic mobile operating system "Aurora".

MIG C55

As it was reported, the smartphone is intended for automation of work of mobile personnel. Among its key physical characteristics there is a strong dust and water tight body which guarantees operability of the device in severe weather conditions (among other things, the device is capable to sustain thermal shock to 100 °C, cold, snow, a rain and dusty premises) and also ensures safety at the negligent address in conditions of production.

The smartphone has the high performance as it was created taking into account support even of the most exacting industrial applications. Among other things, MIG C55 received a modern 8-core chipset of Qualcomm MSM8940 with a frequency of 1.4 GHz, 3 GB of operational and 32 GB of a fixed memory with a possibility of expansion.

Besides, thanks to the architecture the MIG C55 protected smartphone is easily complemented with a number of the functions necessary for work of customer and field services. Among them — the scanner of shaped codes and radio-frequency tags, the video recorder, optical systems and range finders, the systems of recognition of documents and so on. It allows not to change the device at emergence of requirements, and only to expand its functionality.

Experts consider that use of mobile Aurora OS will strengthen the smartphone in terms of information security and additional control of exit personnel. It will allow to use the device to public services and departments, [1] to energy, transport and production companies[2]

The announcement of MIG C55AL running the Russian Astra Linux OS

On June 13, 2019 the company Mobile Inform Group announced the first mobile devices under control of the Russian operating system Astra Linux.

In assortment of the producer there were a smartphone with the 5.5-inch MIG C55AL display and also two MIG T8AL tablet computers and MIG T10AL equipped with Full HD screens of 8 and 10 inches in size on diagonal.

New products received the eight-nuclear SDM 632 processor with clock rate of 1.8 GHz, 4 Gbytes of operational and 64 Gbytes of the fixed expanded memory.

Sales of the first smartphones on Russian Astra Linux are announced

Gadgets are capable to work 10-12 hours at one charge of the accumulator at a temperature from - 20C to + 60C and 4-5 hours at decrease in temperature to - 30C. They are completely hermetic (to IP68 in special execution), maintain sharp temperature differences up to 100C without moisture condensation and also vibrations and repeated falling from 1.5 meters, claim in Mobile Inform Group.

Within cooperation of two Russian companies there was country's first full protected both on program, and at the hardware level a solution for any companies which care for data protection in the field of field automation. Updating and transition to Astra Linux OS will be available to customers who already use products of MIG company based on Android OS — the CEO of Mobile Inform Group  Konstantin Mantsvetov said.

The smartphone and Astra Linux Special Edition OS tablets will function on the platform and to support such functions as reading shaped codes and radio-frequency tags (LF NFC, HF, UHF RFID), high-precision geopositioning to 2.5 cm, thermal imaging cameras, modules on work with contact and contactless types EDS and other functions.

The company is sure that civil services, security agencies, the enterprises of power, oil and gas, production, transport, production and others will become customers of devices on Astra Linux. In these structures, according to developers, there is demand for mobile solutions without sanctions risks. Sales of devices will begin in September, 2019.

2018: The announcement of the MIG C55V smartphone for intelligence agencies

In the middle of March, 2018 the Mobile Inform Group company announced the beginning of sales in Russia of the MIG C55V smartphone addressed to intelligence agencies, the managers and employees working at departure.

The device combining in itself functions of the video recorder, a communicator and a mobile workplace is complemented with the portable camera which is capable to bear serious blows and direct hit of water and dust. The camera can be fixed on any element of clothes or uniform and can record video even in night conditions, using additional illumination or the infrared mode. 13-and 5 megapixel cameras are built also in phone.

The MIG C55V smartphone can be operated in severe conditions

The MIG C55V model received the 8-core processor of Qualcomm 8953, the 5.5-inch display with   the resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and a shock-resistant covering, the rechargeable battery with a capacity of 4200 mAh, 4 Gbytes of operational and 32 Gbytes of a fixed memory. The last can be expanded by connection of replaceable drives with a capacity up to 256 Gbytes. As a program basis the Android 7.1 operating system is used.

Besides, the producer pays attention to presence of modules of wireless communication Bluetooth 4.1 and NFC that allows to use a tube as means of the electronic admission in systems ACS.

The MIG C55V smartphone is equipped with the portable camera which can conduct shooting in the dark

The smartphone has protection of class IP67 that means an opportunity for work without effects after impact of moisture and water, repeated falling on concrete from height to 1.2 meters at any angle and presence at the environment where temperature is from-20 to +60 Celsius degrees.
